God gave us free will
And the boy made his choices
This way or that
Yes or no
Paralysed by infinity
Was his excuse
But deluded to the core
And so it went
He twisted himself
into something hideous
Spent his time
pushing pain onto others
I'll feel it this time
thank you
This monkey's gone to heaven
I'll see everyone there

Option two

vile boy
Do we live in a deterministic machine
Everything written in stone
Since the dawn of time
... Or do we have free will..
Etching our consciousness into the
Fabric of the universe
From one moment to the next
That is the question
But I am too weak
And too fearful
To believe in such majesty
I choose the easy way
foul boy
soulless and evil
leaves a bad taste on your tongue
This is my nature
This was my destiny from the
Beginning of everything
This is what I tell myself
Everything unfolding from a single point
We cannot perceive time as it truly is
Everything has already happened
Repeating again and again
This is what I tell myself
I have to
Because I have chosen fear over faith
We all have stories we must tell ourselves
And this is mine
Please think of the good times if you can
There were so many
Thank you
I love you all

you could try expanding on the "monkey's gone to heaven" part by incorporating the 5 monkeys and a ladder experiment
>"After a time, no monkey would dare try climbing the ladder, no matter how great the temptation."
in conjunction with the idea of Jacob's Ladder

Suspend your suicide to become a better writer so that you can become a more effective suicide note creator. And then maybe stick around to write something else

thanks for your reply. it gives me something to think about it. I like it

This line was intended as a reference to one of my favourite albums. Doolittle by Pixies. There is a song called Monkey gone to heaven. And this line is in the lyrics. I really dig the religious imagery (though I'm not religious) and I think it does a good job of capturing my view of death. We are all monkeys, we all die, but we are part of something bigger. Something incomprehensible.. 'Heaven'. Whatever that is. I do not believe in an after life but my death is not suffering. We are all one, in some respect. There is nothing to feel bad about
