they're written in my reader's notebook, can't access it right now, but some highlights from the top of my head:
Death of C by Gabrielle Wittkop
lots of stories by Borges and Milorad Pavic
Mishima's Temple, Thirst for love and Confessions of a mask
Sorokin's works
Odyssey
Virgil's bucolics and georgics
Diary of a country priest

there are many more that I liked, but I have a terrible memory for names and titles specifically and keep lists for this reason

p.s. some clear-up: i have story collections which count as a single book, i write them in if i've read more than 70% of stories in it
the list also included unfinished books (about 4 or 5 from total) if again i've read 70% or over. for example i went through 15 episodes of Ulysses out of 18 (second time trying to read it, first time it was halfway through, i restarted from the beginning) but it was just unbearably out of my liking, couldn't force myself through some 200 more pages

I got 20/40 and I'm not even upset about it

30 out of 40, but of those 30 about 10 were 1000 pages so I'm happy with my efforts.

Of course I'm going to make it. Forcing yourself to read limits the enjoyment so I set quite a low goal.

Yeah, I made 40 but didn't read as many longer books as I wanted.

add me friends: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/45642444-m

I'm not going to make it probably, I was really busy in the beginning of the year and did basically no reading until the summer. At least now I'm back into good habits, but this is so far my worst year since I started tracking

Last year I read 36 books, so reading 14 more this year felt really good, and I still have some time to read one or two more books. It was a good year.

don't keep track but I'm nearly 100 books this year
