The Bible, unironically. Not so much the "white" but definitely the "male" part. On a related note, a lot of Christian literature was canonised just because it fit with the power dynamics of the time (thinking of Aquinas here)

Also, any book written by a straight man, that discusses something along the lines of the "nature of women", can definitely be brushed off as incel propaganda.

But most of it is okay and enjoyable. Academia and the general public just needs to be woke on the sexist stuff.

It's a stereotype. A sort of left leaning, well educated middle class person working in the arts or the media in New York, the sort of person who is into veganism, artisan coffee, and will not only let you know what they are reading, but will expect you to be impressed.
Nobody actually fits it perfectly, but the book is a humorous lampooning of that sort of person.
Dickens has a sketch making fun of middle class pseudo bohemians, it's in that vein
