*solves Marxism*

>> No.14233249

Marxism was "solved" when it was tried time and time again and shown to be the ineffective and impossible dream that it is. It was "solved" when it's "scientific" claims and predictions were shown to be demonstrably incorrect.

*Solves Marxism*

>> No.14233363

Marxism can't be solved as it itself is an attempt at solution. If solution needs a solution itself, it's not saying much.

Gramsci did not solve anything, he, just like Lukasc, made observations about why marxism fails in their contemporary world and constituted that world (the people) is not ready.
That's it.
And frankly, marxism isn't dead, because it is an attempt upon removing faults of capitalism, but communism, and socialism for that matter, took the wrong path when Lenin became the dominating authority over it and was killed by inept intelligencia inside Bolshevic party, later in Communist party. Literally idealogy is dead carcass now that attracts worm like creatures to feast on each other's excrements inside the rotting corpse. It's pathetic and saddening.
You can't have anyone, anymore, intellectually honest to be subscribed to marxism without them being clinically depressed.
Fuck tankies and all that they stand for. Some people are literally better have had never been born.

>durr gommunism complete failure!
To the contrary, communism for a time looked to be completely superior to capitalism because of how quickly the USSR industrialized. But because the central planners made bad decisions the Soviet economy could make nice tanks but not a laundry machine, leading to economic stagnation over time vis a vis the west and eventual collapse. This was hardly the case in every eastern block country, decentralized planning in the DDR produced more overall growth than in the BRD in the same period, though due to The disparity in starting GDP and Soviet pillaging of the country for heavy machinery as ‘reparations’ the DDR was still well behind the BRD in ‘89. The nice thing about this new era of powerful computers and the internet is that we can make monstrously efficient central planning computers and then decide what inputs to give them via democratic consensus.

Not only industrialized. How the fuck can you call a country which was scientifically completely backwards just a few decades earlier that sent first live organisms and human to outer space a failure? I don't deny the horrors of USSR but people, get out of your asses and look around you for once.

Unironically a very reddit thing to do. This kind of shit ends with people shunning certian authors (Céline, Houellebecq, Junger, Spengler etc) for being "problematic". Then you end up with garbage like /r/books where only YA novels get discussed.

I had Nietzsche's famous saying in mind. How else should I have interpreted the use of such vulgar, fascistic rhetoric coming from one of the world's foremost antifascist intellectuals? We're you putting shoe on the other foot by showing them how mean and hurtful their words are or do you get a thrill out of using terminology that would be barred from your social circles? Intellectualism is how these people justify the hierarchies needed for them to operate. By designating a group as fundamentally anti-intellectual, they can essentially be dismissed as subhuman. It's kind of funny coming from a group that typically claims "humanity" as something universal, immutable, and the basis of rights.

Life to them comes down to one-upping others in conversation and orgasming. To them there's nothing else.

One of the history's most celebrated aphorists never crafted anything that can could be referred to as a saying. I guess splitting hairs over semantics is the true weight of intellectuals. It seems to me that you have a bright in analytic philosophy, and I certainly don't envy that burden.
