I tried reading s5, didn't really dig it but i have been getting back into Vonnegut. I'm currently reading cat's cradle and enjoying it much more. Hoping to pick up Mother Night later on too, Vonnegut is pretty dope.

Breakfast of Champions is Vonnegut at his most jaded and bitter, it has some great humor, but you really have to give it the most superficial readings as possible to not have that humor ruined by the bitterness. I do not get why so many miss this, it is obvious even without the preface where he spells it out for you, it is a depressing book.

me at 16--and for my class presentation, my five favoritest books are:
5. Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, very profound
4. Catch-22--LITERALLY the funniest book ever made, I was confused though?
3. Wheel of Time--technically cheating because it's a whole ~cycle~ but I couldn't resist because it's very poetic and master storyteller
2. Count of Monte Cristo-I just wish anyone else had ever read it! I just finished it and I was TOTALLY blown away
1. Hitchhikers Guide to fucking killing myself
