What can I do? Is it a good idea to read with sunglasses?

If you're really worried about this, you could try those Gaming glasses or whatever they're called. When I was finishing up my degree I had a pair to stave off the weariness from staring at a white word document all day. They worked alright.

use a blue light filter. I personally use redshift, use f.lux if you're on windows or something. crank it to the max value, makes it tolerable.

alternatively, you could avoid strain alltogether by using e-ink, used kindles or kobos are pretty cheap

use nightlight/bluelight removal program. also use the dark/night theme for whatever you're reading on.
