I saw these books were recommended in both the general learning to learnt chart and the liberal arts autodidact chart.

Or should I just stick to a modern book like a mind for numbers?

This book just discusses historical aspects and perspectives lightly, and gives you an intro into the occult tier understandings of the quadrivium. I own it and I'm working through it. Not recommended for non-autists.

the Trivium is good, but I haven't read the quadrivium. if it's anything like the Trivium, it's good for understanding the relationship between the topics, so I would get it as an intro before picking up some other books.
