I would like to play music professionally for a living even if I don't become rich or hugely successful at it. I just want to be able to live comfortably (which for me would be easy) so I could just hang out and listen ton/play music/read/write/do nothing all day. That would be glorious.
I'm almost done with school. I graduate in March. Hopefully then I'll get an internship at one of my favorite record labels here in town, and continue to just do nothing and hang out with friends, while doing what I mentioned above, and then working just to pay off my student loans.
I don't have a favorite author of all time. I can't ever pick a favorite anything due to the fact that I might forget someone or a work of somebody's and then I end up going back and reconsidering and evaluating whether or not that would really constitute as my "favorite".

You're an idiot. Australia has the highest University gross enrollment ratio in the entire world. Don't just claim that your own experience is somehow representative of your area/region—If only 12 people from your graduating class went to Uni then you went to a school full of fucktards, and you were one of the dunces who didn't bother trying.
