So why are people on here so obsessed with Apocalyptic & Post-Apocalyptic novels? not even just books, people will come from other boards looking for the 'Post-Apocalyptic of _'.

I think deciding what you read based on the setting of all things means you probably can't discern the more important differences between novels like the characterisation & prose, etc.

So why is the apocalypse such a 4channer wet-dream exactly?
