Get into something arty, increase your openness and learn to appreciate beauty. You should realise how tasteless so many right wingers are, that their reductive world views come from a mix of fear of complexity and lack of imagination, hiding behind traditions they don't understand and masturbating to mediocre pastoral pieces. you won't suddenly wake up a retarded leftist, you can also still wear nice suits

Your views are fueled by a hopelessly simplistic view of human beings, as well as a lack of empathy on the most basic of levels. I'm not saying you have to love refugees or whatever. What you (I assume) lack is just the basic acknowledgement that you are dealing with beings of the same category as you. You may know it rationally, but you do not feel it. To fix that, you just have to read. I don't know what will "click" for you but for me it was Tolstoy. Reading War and Peace did something to my psyche that I can't fully articulate, but I noticed that I was gradually becoming less concerned with race and all the other right wing nonsense, more willing to think about the lives and circumstances of other people and so on. That's lethal poison for right-wing ideology.

I was addressing a self-professed "insecure right wing racist and sexist", and speaking from my own personal experience as a former insecure right-wing freak to give what I think is good advice about how to get out of that mindset.

You can absolutely be right-wing and not an incel weirdo. But not of the kind that's often practiced here on 4chan.

Paranoiac freaks exist in every race and nation. Whereas THOSE freaks fight to take from you, WE freaks fight to protect you. This breed of right-wing fanaticism is self-justifying; we are trying to protect our own from people just like us that the "accident of birth" has clothed in different skins. Maybe this is cynical, but where else would history come from if not from us uncompromising beasts for whom the battle for supremacy is always immanent, beckoning, calling to arms?

>> No.14165866

>>14165756
I'm sorry but dumb lonely lower class goons like you contributed nothing to history, save for being swept up by people with power and utilized for their ends. I get the appeal of having this meta-narrative about you being a part of a war to defend your people from crazy muslims or the globalists or whatever. But it's stupid. You never fought anyone. You never defended anything. You are not a warrior. You are an (upper) middle class white guy with an OK education who posts mean things on the internet, and nothing more. And I'm not speaking down to you like I'm some fucking operator who is "in the know" about some hidden knowledge. I'm an average guy as well, but I grew bored with these stories. They're childish, reductive. Shallow. They became unfit to describe the world once I accepted the idea that I'm dealing with people of comparable complexity to my own psyche. And I don't mean it in a political theory sense (like a hobbesian view or something) or an unreflective lib attitude that "duh we're all equal it's like in the constitution or whatever". I just accepted that I'm always dealing with beings whose inner world is more similar to mine than different, and in the same ballpark in terms of complexity.

As for people who in your mind are like you but different, by which I think you mean jihadists and the likes, you are right to recognise them as kindred spirits, but you're wrong to place them as your counterparts in this meta narrative about a clash of civilisations. They're just lonely goons who were born in a different place, and they're just as impotent as you. Yes, they're more organized and they killed some people, but that led to little or no political change on either side. ISIS was scattered, and even the most shocking acts of violence (like the one where they gunned down a hundred people) ultimately ended up in nothing.

In short, this stuff leads nowhere. It's a simplistic world view made by and for socially stunted young men which consists in part of baseless hatred mixed with dumbed down and twisted analysis ripped off from actual theorists.

You know, this is why normalfags find you guys repulsive, almost on instinct. There are many types of people whom society finds unacceptable but I think that the dorky right-wing incel types are especially reviled because the normalfags can just smell that kind of autism I was talking about earlier. They just instinctively know that the people they're disgusted by lack a basic building block to being an adult and they can't help but despise you for it.

I would say you have me(?) pegged down pretty well. These hyperbolic posts I make with a heavy heart and half (only half) in jest, because I know your normalfags are right to be reviled by the formless misanthropy of goons hopped up on Strength and Hardness and Supremacy.
But I see this type of person as an overcorrection rather than a pure defect. People are very hungry indeed for meta narratives. The mistake perhaps that the bourgeois Hitlerite makes is choosing to embrace the strawman world of perpetual struggle and "Hate" that liberalism justifies itself against. That is the world that apparently haunts our culture, and so it is almost by reflex that misanthropes reach for it. Not to put you on the spot, but what would you say is a better meta narrative?

>> No.14166137

>>14166098
this. There is a world of difference between recognizing the relevant facts and thusly being opposed to the ideological mainstream and on the other hand embracing a strawman created by the mainstream out of rebelliousness or some other sort of antisocial tendency

We wouldn't have all the crappy stuff if something good was lying around that I could point to. I don't know shit. I am only ahead of you (if at all) insofar as I posses enough ability to reflect on my recent past and how my view of the world changed throughout the years, and articulate what seems to me a common thought pattern for at least some people on this website. I can only encourage you to read more and to not shy away from complexity. I think political theory can offer readers some very nuanced and well articulated views on human behavior and how an individual fits into the wider world. My favourites are Rousseau, Machiavelli, Marx, and Nietzsche. And like I said in my initial post reading more good fiction is I think necessary for people like us to feel and internalise certain truths that normalfags naturally grasp. It's trite advice but it's all I've got.

I love Rousseau's discourse on inequality (without really buying it, lol). I've read all of those besides Marx somewhat extensively and I think it's worth doing so, but I'd hazard not to let the consensus formation process fly over you. To me there's something of a Lasch-Deneen-Tocqueville axis in the ether that will be enormously influential sooner than later. Good chat though

Imagine thinking that a post of fewer than 500 words is an essay. Also, the point was to express my view that the world-view that is propagated on this website and in similar places is rooted in a childish and simplistic understanding of human beings, and that the best way to get out of it is by reading good literature, which goes back to what I initially said about reading Tolstoy, which is what did it for me.
