Kant analyzed the antinomy of the rationalist vs. the empiricists of his time well.
But his proposition is a huge pile of speculation, so it being a "solution" secretly just means it's a guess that's not on the nose self-contradictory.
It's all comfy, but imho it's more valuable to just study history than try to get comfortable with guesswork
