Tybrax said he read and enjoyed Twilight. He's mentioned it more than a few times in a completely non-trolling fashion. Total pleb.

>> No.1416547

Nobody except girls under the age of 14 like Twilight.

I have no problems with girls under the age of 14 reading twilight. I saw a kid and his sister - he was 'reading' Where's Wally and was like 12, she was reading Twilight and was about 7 or 8. I was pretty impressed. Romance is pretty dead and if that's going to introduce new people to it then I won't complain.

Do I have to sparkle?

>> No.1416626

kinda sad that so many anonymous posters, of all the people in the board to be worrying about an online identity, are embarrassed to say if they enjoyed something that's looked down upon or 'hipster'. really sad. i suppose lying to themselves must come into it somewhere.

>> No.1418523

that said, i'd give her a hug

like, I don't have a problem with Twilight or with people reading it, I'm glad they're reading it. But I wouldn't really look to Twilight to resurrect some concept of romance - because romance never really existed as more than a fantasy, because I don't know what good would be done by bringing it back, but especially because I don't see what real romance there is in Twilight.

Just because you don't get any doesn't mean Romance is dead.
