What books are similar to Catcher in the Rye in terms of writing style? It doesn’t have to necessarily have a similar plot or protagonist because I like the way it’s written, but Holden is a pretty huge fag throughout the book.

Salinger is GOAT so you won’t really find much. Rebecca Curtis short stories are the closest I’ve found. Cherry by Nico Walker is a pale imitation but still a fun read.
