Pretty good book. No drugs, but the narrative does take on a weird journalistic sense. Take a look at it and you'll know what I mean.

Really trippy, nevertheless. O'Brien throws in his usual Vietnam craziness too, which, culturally, seems to be gaining attention in some weird revivalist sort of way.
