ITT: Post lines you've written that you're especially proud of. I'll start.

Django Black is a muscular, shaven-headed black veteran who has been stoic up 'til this point in the novel. However, his wife and kids get killed by the bad guys. Even though he owns them in revenge (yup, they're dead as dead, you can bet he makes sure of that), he breaks down in tears afterwards.
