Hi guys, I'm planning on extending my knowledge of modern day literature (not modern modern, but written within the last century.)

I'd like to know what books you have enjoyed, or are eagerly waiting to read. My last read was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, currently working on The Godfather. I'm only coming to you because /lit/ was useless.

Also, yes I do know my last and current read are mainstreamish etc., but that's the way I like it. However, I am extremely open to any and all suggestions. I will post what I have decided to read.

OP here. Sorry for the typo. I meant to say /Fit/ was useless. I was asking for XX Century novels to a bunch of bodybuilders and the best they could recommend was Atlas Shrugged (pic related).
