Relate … hardly. Only Éponine felt like a real character and by far the most interesting one for me, the others were too stuck in their roles and didn't feel like actual people. Which for me isn't a big complaint, it worked out for the novel.

Oh and based Myriel. I'm not even a christfag but it's hard not to love him, just again, not really relating.
