How has reading the Greeks changed your life?

Besides Plato, Aristotle, Oedipus King, and Homer, they are so unbelievably boring. I tried reading Hesiod and i've never seen such a terrible and uninspiring work in my life. I'd rather read thousands and thousands of anime fan fictions than to read another page of Greek god genealogy as written by that peasant retard. I hate him so much. I also hate the rest of Greek literature, like for example, the whiny pathetic females of Euripedes, or the oratory heavy drama of Aeschylus, or the unfunny slapstick of Aristophanes. It's all so fucking overrated.

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, and I see your mistaking "lead" with "led" as the perfect opportunity. Why is the past tense of "read" also "read," but it's "led" for "lead"? That doesn't make much sense.

the ea in read and lead are pronounced differently tho so it's not that surprising that the past form is also different

Aristotle's prose is boring, but the meaning of his logical conclusions aren't. If you can cut through the dry prose, you'll find gold.

No, it's called a survival mechanism.
> foolish to assume that death is the worst thing that can happen to you
Non-sequitur.

Brainlets should not be allowed to read books.

I started with the Greeks. It broadened my horizons and deepened my thought process. It led me to the Romans, which led me to the early scholars, Fathers, and Theologians of Christianity. This led me to St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine, and St. Gregory Palamas.

Now I have converted to Christianity under the Roman Catholic Church; thank you Greeks!
