depending on what you read 15 pages arent too bad. If it is a really dense philosophical text I kinda feel you. When I read a text like that I read most pages twice because I only consider something understood if I can summarize it. I basically read all philosophy twice in one sitting. It takes time but I actually learn. I could easily read 50 pages a day but I wouldnt get half of it. I for example just reread kratylos from the beginning because I missed the point on the first few pages. I used to blast through 1000 pages of YA in about 2 weeks when I was younger. Cant do that with good old Kant (15 pages a day that you actually understand are huge here).

There's also a website that flashes text by quickly which can help improve your speed. Search ways to improve reading speed, I'm sure you can find it easily.
But remember anon, comprehension and retention are more import than speed. Understanding and remembering what you read is always more important. Its not a competition.
