Why do atheists get so triggered when you point out the similarities of the big bang and the creation story?

Atheist:
>In the beginning on the universe there was nothing, then there was a singularity from which everything was created
Christian:
>Hey that kind of sounds like the creation story
Atheist:
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

They're salty that god didn't choose them to be saved.

It's a term that triggers them. Just like any other community or religion, they are triggered by certain things.

I don't even really believe in the Big Bang. I mean maybe that's what happened, they don't actually know, they're just extrapolating based on small amounts of data, with models that don't even account for what we see in the universe to such a degree that they have to invent meme concepts like dark matter.

No, the story goes; at a certain point, all the matter in the known universe was packed together. o'right?
Then a force blew it all outward. o'right?
We've no fucking clue beyond that. You want it to be a fucking space elf or volcano god with a penis fetish, that's you.
But your creation myth doesn't go like that. and you know it. Yours says your dick-god created the heavens and earth in one day. He lights everything up, then has to put some of it out... Who the hell was there to explain this to anyone the first time?

>things were created, therefore science and Bible say the same
wow, so this is the power of Christian intellect
>Atheist:
>>In the beginning on the universe there was nothing,
nah

the vilest part of your post is associating it with Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, thinkers and artists who gave a hundred times better and more honest reasons to believe in God, instead of your thoughtless shitflinging

They don't, and atheists don't necessarily have any opinion on the big bang. Why should they?
