Would it be possible to organise a general of some sort that involves various anons voting for a certain book to read, then reading the book in tandem and returning to the general to discuss every day?

It would be a enjoyable way to further motivate reading, and would allow for various viewpoints to be considered. Perhaps even glean something you missed.

Would also make the process of reading less lonely desu.

We've had plenty of reading groups on /lit/. Most don't work because some people want to read like 10 pages a day and others want to read in a reasonable amount of time. These tended to be weekly events because some people here (apparently) have jobs and can't post or read every single day

You're still welcome to try making one. Some people might join and it will give you an excuse to start at least.

>motivate reading
If you need motivation to read you have no reason to post here.
