I've dedicated much of my life to the study of philosophy, specifically philosophy and language and, to a lesser extent, epistemology and philosophy of law. Now, at 26, I've seen this was the biggest mistake I could've ever done. Has anyone suffered a similar mental breakdown? Where are all the English, History, Social Sciences and Journalism majors from /lit/? Did you go to law school? Did you become a marketing whatever somewhere? It seems philosophy is pure garbage. It's good to read it once in a while, but to take it so seriously you give up on life seems like a cope or the logical conclusion of the sunken cost fallacy. What should I do to stop seeing the field as inherently inferior to others?
