Why do people not like his writing style? It takes some more time for me to comprehend but it’s not horrible.

All of this Derrida posting lately makes me think that someone taking their first lit theory course and just had the unit on Derrida and deconstruction and now thinks he's some post-modern god

Check the archive. We've experience an uptick in Derrida threads in the past few days. Definitely some undergrad thinking he's stumbled upon esoteric knowledge

I like Derrida's style, it's nice to read. His earlier works that is, which were more condensed. Later his style takes on a more drawn out, oral tone, which can be more repetitive.

I think it’s partly a blowback because Peterson has lost his dominance, which has lead to people actually reading Derrida and realizing he’s not that bad, or the Derridaposters from before are feeling more comfortable in posting again.

I'm actually a serior about to graduate and I'd rather kill myself than discuss lit theory ever again. It totally ruined English classes for me

Jordan Peterson is our Deleuze, muh lobsters, jungian mysticism, blatant misuse of scientific ideas

Derrida was Ben Shapiro, ie. Manlet jew who owns everyone with pedantic debate tactics
