Im trying to get /lit/ and i just completed my first book in a while and i feel like i consumed/took in no information, will this change as i read more?

I felt the same with Campbell’s Hero with a Thousand Faces. I had to go back and read whole pages a second time. You retain it in some ways. But that’s why I keep a bookcase
