I'm trying to write a book on how I bootstrapped Buddhism from western ideas and I have a bunch of stuff written out but it's difficult to determine a structure.

In order to first make something from scratch, you must invent the universe.

I'm used to having a skeleton to work with as I learned in school. Now I have no skeleton and a lot of the ideas are built around each other rather than than a linear progression.

then create a fucking skeleton. how do you expect to be a writer if you cant even come up with a simple outline for your own fucking ideas? you need a teacher to do it for you? lol

Yes.
I wish I can just give my written ideas to a writer and they can make it into a draft and I can revise it from there. I also am trying to dumb philosophy down for the average person to make my book widely accessible.

Bootstrapped a perennial philosophy? Pray go on!

How do I know they won't fuck me over? Also, the difficulty is I'm trying to convey my ideology. They're not the ones with my brain. Not sure, I might give up and do something else but I already have like 40 pages.

Hey anon. most important thing is your book has fluidity, so basically you start reading and it flows, and each thing just fits right into the next and it's a joy and you're alive. But always the tables will turn and up will become down so WATCH OUT!

1. Write down all the points you want to cover. Does not need to be in any order, just throw them on a page.
2. Figure out what goes together, which parts logically need to come before other parts so the reader can understand it, that kind of thing.
3. Congratulations, you've written an outline.

Dude just fucking write it or shut up. First drafts are messy, Edit it from there.
You're looking for excuses to fail and I promise you'll keep finding them.

yeah, it's almost like he forgot that in their rejection of Christianity westerners who turn to Buddhism typically project everything they dislike about Christianity onto it and make it into some moralistic bullshit that they aggressively proselytize and act obnoxious about, lmao
