History seems to be the one subject nobody actually takes the time to learn yet feels themselves necessary to comment on or use for their own pathology. Actually read a book on any of those figures or time periods and then come back to me with your nonsense. Nietzsche strengthened my budding faith when i read him as a youngin. Its easy to dismantle his arguments for atheism, but the rest of his philosophy is a good introduction to phil, as it is very entertaining to read and shows what can be achieved through great works of philosophy
