He's the anti-/ourguy/. A perverted photo-negative of what a writer can be. All his success is empty, just look at his fucking eyes. This man has been broken for a long time, and no amount of self-insertion fantasies or model main actresses who keep him at arms length will ever repair him.

I hope he snaps one day and totally fucks over the image he's been building for almost fifteen years now. He should write a book on a quirky main character who falls in love with a quirky girl, then gets rejected, and the rest of the book follows the now-hollow-yet-still-quirky main character building maps of his school in Doom and practice-testing a runthrough of his master plan to shoot up the school. At the end of the book, he does it, and it's just him and the girl who rejected him in the classroom. We don't see what happens. There are two gunshots.

The last page of the book is a black-and-white full-page photo of what is clearly John Green's dick in a bowl of Cheerios. Now the world knows the man has been set loose. Now the world knows fear.
