That's a good point because what the french brainlets do is basically copy the behavior of burger retards and push it to the boiling point, which might as well the worst possible thing to do. I went to a very progressive liberal arts school and just about every English professor I had acknowledged that judging works written centuries ago in very different contexts by modern day standards of social justice was immensely stupid and shortsighted. One of them actually studied in France, and yet on one occasion went on a rant about how retarded it was to dismiss Heart of Darkness by calling it racist.

Any socially, politically, or artistically conservative (or otherwise strongly dogmatic) professor will be difficult to deal with. If you do not care about wanting to feel like a free spirit, you may attempt to follow all of their advice and do exactly as they tell you for the sake of pleasing them.
From my experience, Philosophy professors are usually a lot more chill than Literature, Art, or Social Sciences professors.
