I did read it. Wasn't a fan. But still whats with all these Atlas Shrugged threads

>> No.1387254

Well, I'm about 200 pages into Atlas Shrugged right now. It's... not terrible. I'm more into it for the philosophical stuff. Mainly because I think Objectivism is interesting and worth considering, although kind of impractical.
Anyways... if you like action, The Fountainhead is about a rape victim who gets Stockholm Syndrome and falls in love with the rapist. She then helps him blow up an orphanage. No, seriously, she actually helps him blow up an orphanage, I'm not even shitting you.

Pretty badass if you ask me. Every anon should aspire to be like this guy. He does what he wants.

Not much.

It's too long for it's content and can get rather annoying. I also read it because of the hype and was thoroughly disappointed. I see where the author is coming from, after researching her background, but it is not applicable today and can be found offensive by some.

I definitely liked the idea of the vibrating destruction towers or whatever it was, but I love shit like that no matter what.
