I seriously hope this post was ironic. The whole beauty of the epilogue is that Raskolnikov still doesn't understand what he did wrong even in prison. It's a big theme in Dosto books that the prison system in Russia didn't help fix criminals. It was something he experienced first hand. Raskolnikov's redemption didn't come from him just surrendering and rotting in prison.
