Hey /lit/. My Poppy digs Louis L'Amour and he already has all of his work. Anyways I want to get him a paperback western. What should I get the man. I was thinking No Country for Old Men or The Gunslinger. Need suggestions.

No Country for Old Men is not a real western BUT I think it has a kind of story that a hardened, no nonsense man would enjoy. It is a great novel that actually makes you think and is great to reflect up. I couldn't believe it was written so recently after I read it; it felt as if it was a long-time classic.
