Friendship come with companionship, and companions require a purpose in your life. If you’ve got no break need for anyone else in what you do, why bother? People are a drain of time and energy; it could be spent on ways better improving yourself. Pretty much this. Ended up burning my relationship with a lot of friends cause I just no longer could put up with listening to them talk about their DOTA 2 scores. Thank god I actually have a few who are better than that.

I don't know but I know why I have none. I made my best friend never want to talk to me after (reluctantly) taking LSD with him and then having a bad trip, spazzing out and scaring him.
My relationships with all my other acquaintances are very shallow so I am effectively 'friend'-less now.
