Saw a qt girl reading this at the library. I couldn’t make a move on her. Missed my chance at a qt lit gf

even if you thought of something to say and actually said it, she probably wouldve just nodded & humored you for a sec, then went back to reading

I think it might take a little more than acknowledging the book she's reading. I really like picturing the attempt, though.
>"Hey, babe. Is that Faulkner? He's based... I liked the retard chapters.
>"heh heh... that's nice.
>"LOVE ME YOU WHORE"
>"hehehe... ummm. Please leave, or I'm calling the police"
>"wtf I hate woman now"

I was expecting it to go like this but the main obstacle would be that I don’t look like Jim Carrey

I'm sorry I mocked you. I want you to have that moment, anon. Except, I hope you don't figure out your life has been staged to entertain the world.

Used to exchange books with some qt girl in high school. She probably was into me, often was making tactile contact and even asked me for a walk on several occasions. Still was too autistic to make a move on her. I'm really hopeless.

can we all just agree that caring about women in the slightest is completely futile and degenerate?

When I was in 6th grade a girl from 3rd grade used to stalk me and sending love messages during recess but I rejected her lmao. Had this happened in high school I would've been happy it happened. Not sure how you can fuck the advances of a girl in high school, Anon.

on highschool graduation day a 8.5/10 came up to me at the dance and kissed me on the lips. the last time we spoke had been about a year before that. only then did i realize how painfully obvious it was that she was into me. in the year before that, she joined clubs i was in, asked me for “help” preparing debates and such, and made a point to integrate me into the social functions between our dorms (as an anxious autist i tended to skirt around these). she even visited my room (coed boarding school) (she brought a friend for cover who left after a few minutes) when the inaugural school year started, but i gtfo’d because i thought she was there to see my roommate and felt awkward and also having this babe fiddling with my books and poking about my room and reclining on my windowsill was too much to deal with

She was probably analyzing it for her "Women, sexuality and gender in the 20th century" course.

>> No.13752220

>at library doing dissertation research
>end up sitting across from this qt reading Middlemarch and Madame Bovary
>notice that she has a reading list for a gender related course next to her with those two books on them
>conclude that she’s probably just reading them because of her course and leave her alone

Even ignoring the fact that a library is a bad place to talk to people, I’m pretty sure you’re not guaranteed to hit it off with someone just because of what books they read. Who’s to say I would have had anything in common with that girl?
