Finished it yesterday. It was pretty good. Sometimes the prose was mindblowing and descriptive and sometimes it was just annoying. The french was also a pain in the ass. Overall I enjoyed the characters, the humor(Nabokov is hilarious) and the plot. Expected it to be disturbing but turned out to be kind of sweet.
Feel free to roast my brainlet review.

The best parts are when Humbert isn’t with Lolita, and the entire second part - where they’re going around america - felt too long. Maybe it was supposed to, dunno, but it reminded me of the part with Anna’s and Vronsky’s boring life in Italy

Men find 12 year old attractive, and they want to love them. Not rape or murder them. A dog can tell when someone loves them, saying a 12 year old isn't equipped to decide who they marry is dumb.
