Looking for a book on the reasons for why mass shootings occur. I remember a specific book was recommended a lot after El Paso and Dayton but completely forgot the name - had something to do with lack of meaning in people's lived etc

Understand liberalism. Read Baudrillard. Extrapolate from Kaczynski's analysis of activism and powerlessness. Read Zizek.

Very briefly; liberalism strips you out of your freedom and power, but no one is responsible (power is stratospheric/technological), you cannot kill the man responsible for taking down your freedom as there are none. So you go out in the streets and start shooting everything that moves, everything you perceive as the "other", or part of the fabric of reality (liberalism).

Murder = explosion
Terrorism = implosion
