Reading for speed is unironically awful and idiotic. You're going to make your dopamine-addled brain even worse.

you're just a beta cuck. I listen to audiobooks on 2x speed which means I get 2x the amount of information from a normal person. my iq is around 145 so normal intellects cannot compete with my intelligence and brain powers

Do not measure yourself by the amount, but instead the substance, of the books you read. How could you compare an individual who reads complex classic literature like W&P to a soccer mom reading harry potter? They're both books, after all. The entire idea of measuring how many pages you read per hour doesn't make sense either; as some subjects (philosophy especially) need much more time to be digested/understood.

This. When I was young I started reading Plato and felt like an utter failure cause I couldn't read it as fast as I read ficiton.. took me years to realize that not reading Plato at 20/hr was fine.
