He's right, ya know.

I am /pol/ incarnate but I'm going to have to tell you to go back to /pol/ unless you can post something with more substance than this shitty low-effort OP.

He's based, ya know.

he is totally spot on, if you can do it and back it up, it's yours.

Opposite, he is based and correct, prose is shitty and 14 year old edge tier.

Literally everytime I get into a debate with people over the might is right idea, it always proves itself right.
>No, it is decency and morals that rule us
>Until someone decides to impose their own morals on us by force, like perhaps Jihadis readicalizing our kids
>No because the police and military protect us from those evil people
>Yeah, with what though? Massively superior firepower?
It is so self evident we probably didn't need a shitty prose explanation of it like Ragnar provided.

If that were the case there would be no need for "right" as a category in the first place.
Try "the minority of the strong make up right so as not to end buttfucked by the majority of the weak".

Not as snappy but it turns out truth doesn't always come in the form of clickbait titles for youtube videos.

I think that is the broad thesis, that those that can impose their will on others are absolutely in the right, and that it will always be a cadre of elite strongmen (by all definitions of the term) that will determine the dominant landscape of politics and society.

Huh. I guess someone somewhere must have read about Thrasymachus and thought to himself, 'yeah, that guy isn't a complete douche, I should probably listen to him', just didn't think I'd ever interact with one.

i couldn't finish it , i know it has allot of truth and it opened my eyes about the world and how it works , but you got to agree that something in you is telling you might is not always right

The military and police can be fought against or reformed, especially when they are more preoccupied with might than justice. Why do you think cops get kicked out of the forced every day?

>> No.13638691

I've only skimmed this book so naturally, my opinion deserves to be taken with a grain of salt.

The book sounds and reads like a knock-off of political realism and Nietzsche's Will to power.

You know who else was right?

The guy who told you to kill yourself, you meat puppet of biology.

The first post is 100% right though. This thread is just
>dis book good
>might is right
Okay? Why is it good? What arguments are compelling? Why are counter argument's incorrect?
The effort of this thread is staggeringly low. You don't just get to make a thread simply calling a book good, or "right" and still call it high quality.

Based and lovepilled.

This. All "justice" is vigilante justice. If you don't pay taxes, eventually a man with a gun shows up at your door.
>>13638682
To this argument I ask, "Is it possible to lawfully resist an unjust arrest?" Cops only get kicked out of the force when they get caught doing something bad, not when they're actually doing something bad, and they would (and do) continue to do heinous shit as long as they never got caught. There are cases where multiple cops collaborate to rape people and shit.
