>tfw NEET
>don't work
>stay all day at bookshop
>go home and stay all night reading
>still feel that Life is too short for all I wanna read
Anybody else feels like this?

>> No.13598817

Nah, I don't read/consume media for it's own sake. At least you aren't a slave who gets anxiety and depression over having agency with their time. It's common for people to say there were "depressed" as neets because they lacked the structure wageslaving offers. The think work is fulfilling, when in reality it's simply that freedom is unnatural and terrifying for them.

It's not that work is fulfilling but it gives me something to contrast with my free time and enjoy it more than when I was a neet

I'm very unsatisfied with my cumbrain life. I watch porn video after video trying to get a semblance of the feeling of what it's like to caress a girl's hot and sweaty skin with your dick deep inside her, but the more I watch the farther I seem to be from feeling anything.

Really the only thing bad about being a NEET is having no money. There's ennui sometimes but you get that with literally any kind of life, it's just part of being human

And in turn lack of agency, probably eventually reverting to a childlike state especially when compared to those your age and having no respect from any decent member of society (which is fine if you are enlightened).
All depends on the person, one question though if you became this way because of anxiety and the first few years you were overjoyed with your own company but eventually the desires and loneliness crept in until you no longer find fulfilment in being by yourself and acquiring knowledge how do want isolation for the sake of isolation again without having to experience what you did before?

But they look so stupid. How come realistic, or even somewhat realistic, sex dolls haven't already been created? It can't be that technologically advanced, dolls are relatively low tech, though they'd probably cost like a luxury car.

Reading is such a small part of life. There is barely any time to do anything. If we were logical beings we would all only sleep 5 hours and literally sprint everywhere is a state of hyperproductibity. Or, you know, just accept you can't read and do everything, focus on what you consider important, chill out, and try to have a good time.

Can I live for myself and for acquiring knowledge again without having to experience years of anxiety due to being around others to get me to appreciate the time I have? How do ignore the desires and loneliness and the need to be acknowledged by someone again?

Don't you just need some variety to your life? Surely you could do it without having to put yourself in a super anxiety inducing situation.

>> No.13599768

>>13599721
Its more like in the I need a partner sense. The garden variety dissatisfaction was always there but now the need to validate myself through others is overriding everything else that made me content with my time alone. I've always been too impressionable in this way and I just want it to go away.

Hmm I feel you. I don't feel it when I'm alone but when working or even in an MMO guild or whatever the need to try hard so other's don't think poorly of me is overpowering.
I guess for that on the level of society I comfort myself by remembering that within 50 years probably most people will be NEETs thanks to AI and automation, and we're just the first wave or whatever.
