rorty is the final boss of philosophy

it's just he's not edgy and cryptic and usually people interested in philosophy (especially on this site) get memed easily by fluff and larping and pseudodeep bs

lol rorty's epistemology gets shit on by just about any decent analytic philosopher. It's why he ran away and starting writing about Derrida and Heidegger.

>muh non-propositional awareness can never justify a belief.

Keep in mind he gives no argument for this, it's not obvious and it's at the foundation (ironic given that he's a coherentist) of his work. It's obviously wrong. He's not the final boss, just a decent representation of why pragmatism and coherentism is wrong.

Rorty would BTFO this pseud with his ironism immediately.

I only started reading Rorty's book recently and it turns out the moderate centrists were right all along
