>After studying philosophy rigorously I started to not being able to take fiction(literature) seriously!!!

Why do some people claim this?

there is nothing left other than shallow aesthetics. you can get novel ideas and "themes" faster, more thoroughly, and more efficiently through non-fiction. aesthetics have their place but they're far less important than what non-fiction provides. when people analyze themes in fiction they're just LARPing being philosophers
once you realize this - and it just takes a few philosophy books to do so - fiction becomes much less appealing

>> No.13567702

most philosophy books contain some sort of fiction (allegories, examples, dialogues)

knowing universal truths should make you like philosophy better

no, knowing (or knowing about) universal truths just increases the divide between mathematics and philosophy. The more one understands mathematics the less he will be interested in philosophy.

Low quality bait or just retarded.
All the greek philosophers were mathematicians in some extent, and studying mathematics actually helps you understand some fields of philosophy better (like metaphysics or gnoseology, for instance). The two disciplines are not mutually exclusive, they complement each other.

yes, studying mathematics will help you to understand other subjects better (even humanities), but studying philosophy will not help you with anything but philosophy.

The lie existed before the truth did. It is much more quaternary than the veil-unlifting of the mythos of science. Much more Miocene. It is archaic, and through its archaicity predates as any axiom does when it boils down to it. Primordial, primo, first chronologically, logical precedence. Derrida is simply a chronic player of the etymological game, and once you learn the game it is not so hard to understand. Mind you, I’ve gotten a lot stupider in the last few years, so I probably couldn’t understand him now, like super lol.
