Is this well written?

I read somewhere people calling the "next Angels in America". I thought Angels in America was probably just marketing before I actually read the thing and saw it staged. It was really great drama.

I was wondering if Hamilton is also good. I dont live in the US and cant afford to go to New York to watch this, so can people who did go watch tell me what they think about it?

Is impressive to people who never read Shakespeare or Lorca or the ancient Greek plays. Is mediocre poetry, but since it's sung and recited as rap and hip hop people eat it up.

I wish I saw Angels in America on stage. It was playing in Toronto once but tix were too expensive. The HBO adaptation is pretty amazing.

It's not even good rap. It's your standard white suburban kid who wants to be a rapper and says shit like "the devisATION of the corporATIONS all across our nATION," but with some saccharine ahistorical account of the founding of the US as a backdrop.
