get off the internet unless you are using it to accomplish a goal, frogman. until you gain some self-control and your attention span back at least.

Start with some short stories or essays and don't force it too much. You'll get better with a bit of time.

When you read a story, you try to learn to be in it with the words. You try to make sense of things in the way that makes the plot move. You try to see through the fog.

You can imagine them and they can, in the same breath, imagine you, trying your damnedest to get them to stop looking at your face.

But to keep from feeling like a fool, you have to try. You have to remember that no matter how brilliant and important their works are, no matter how much they are beloved, no matter how influential and respected their ideas are, if you try to make sense out of them, as if to say that they are just so messed up, so fucked up, so fucked up, do you really believe they are ever worth listening to? You must learn to make sense of things in a way that makes them less fucked up.

Do they feel sorry for you, for being unable to make sense out of what no one can really understand to begin with? Not for being the same and so too strange, no one is ever completely like them to be loved. I love having these characters.

I hope you enjoyed it.

And thank you!
