this isn't exactly "truly banned" by the standard of OP, but it should qualify as samizdat if any work of fiction does:

the Divine and the Decay by Bill Hopkins. A novel originally published in 1957, after a very brief run all copies were recalled and destroyed by the publisher following accusations of it containing fascist themes. Occasionally it shows up for sale online for hundreds of dollars, and you may be able to find one in a library. My old university library has one - maybe when I'm back in that neck of the woods I'll make a point of checking it out. Someone from /lit/ has to read this book.
