It's been almost 25 years since the death of the king of philosophy and the contributions that have been made since then have been piss poor what is going on? Land and Brassier are hacks.

Brassier is really not a hack, he has a deep understanding of western philosophy. His radical nihilism is perhaps not that interesting but he clearly knows the writers he cites.

Land is a meme but I love him anyway. The essay about Heidegger and Trakl is a classic. I think Land's Outside concept deserved a more systematic philosophical effort that he never gave it because he sort of went insane.

If you like Deleuze the most, why is DeLanda that far back? He’s basically the leading Deleuzian today. And Meillassoux is a Badiouian

Brassier’s main metaphysical thesis is a synthesis of Laruelle and Badiou, why is Laruelle great but Badiou bad?

Habermas is still kicking. Rorty and Gadamer were great. Zizek and Searle arent terrible. There’s still content. Also Baudrillard was alive post deleuze.
