Comic books. Good vs evil is literally the thinking of a 12 year old.

She's not really evil though. I just watched the HBO documentary. She really loved him and he treated her pretty bad. She had depressions for years, not a single friend, and was on medication. And he wanted her help to kill himself. He tried to kill himself before that like a dozen times and it didn't work, and almost every week he announced to her that he's going to do it. For months. He really wanted to die, and it was all too much for her. He got the help he wanted, so to say. In no way did she manipulate him into killing himself.

She did use his suicide to market herself afterwards though, that's true. But that's because she never had any friends before, she desperately tried to make friends with her schoolmates, but nobody liked her.

There's no real victim/perpetrator in this case, it's overall just tragic and depressing. And there's no winner in court. She's a deeply troubled woman constantly suffering from depression and loneliness that is going to jail now for 15 months, and her former boyfriend is dead.

Historically, the first book to discuss good vs. evil was the Gathas. I recommend both Mary Boyce and Piloo Nanavutty's translation. It's the only part of the Zend Avesta that goes back to Zarathustra, and it dates somewhere between 1000 to 1500 BCE.
