What is the best translation of Shankara's commentary on the Upanishads?

These are some of the best translations of his commentaries. I strongly recommend starting with vol. 1 of the 8-part compilation. The more Upanishad commentaries you read before his commentaries on the Brahma Sutras and the Gita the more you'll understand his commentaries on the later. The Brihadaranyaka and Chandogya commentaries are each very big, if you only want to read one and not both the ideas of the Chandogya are referenced more in the Brahma Sutras and are more important to understanding it.
