That is because high IQ mostly permits you to have a higher capacity for cognitively demanding tasks. They can balance ideas like 3D space visualization and mathematics better than someone with a lower IQ can (who can probably only do one at a time effectively). It doesn't speak to anything about how wise they are or what their view of the world is. If they are retard tier high IQs, they actually conflate their ability to do these tasks with some form of broader competence
