Does any author portray and relate the concept of love better than Tolstoy does in War and Peace?
The epilogue lads....the epilogue.....the love.....I feel it in my SOUL. I’ve never felt anything like this before from a novel.
Is the ultimate overarching theme of War and Peace....love?

How do bad human beings, who treat other humans meanly, in his case apparently killing men and r*ping women, write of such wholesome realities in a sublime way?

I haven't read his books, but if it's true he was such a terrible narcissist and committed so many injustices against others, why does he have the ability to create such beauty on paper? How come others are better people than him, but can't write as beautifully as he can?

Well he hated himself for it. As much as he was 100% human through and through , that also entailed the psychotic selfishness of youth, and when such a person is in a position of power as he was, it all takes over. He was tormented by the fact that humans are evil, himself included, and he saw it and searched hard for something good instead

AK's dismissal of idealistic romantic love is one of the finest literary achievements anywhere
