I normally dislike Science Fiction but Dune was a good read.

OP pointing out what you did is like reading the poem of The Walrus and the Carpenter in Alice in Wonderland and saying it's a heretic allegory. It's likely that you aren't the first to come to that conclusion because that was the authors original intent.

If you just want to talk about the allegory, then fine but pointing out the obvious and saying nothing else just comes off as pretentious.
