How come I never see any South Korean books or authors mentioned on /lit/?
Are their any notable South Korean books that have been translated?

Yes, but unfortunately, South Korea is suffering a cultural decline due to the decadence of consumerism.

However, they are not unaware of this. I almost participated in an SK government sponsored essay competition once. They are trying to revitalize their arts.

because they're k*reans, a people so illiterate that chinkrunes were too hard for them so they had to switch to bug-scribble alphabet, thus destroying their own literacy and culture forever.
